Major US based softwood lumber producer in the Upper Midwest is seeking a skilled candidate to oversee all phases of lumber manufacturing, from log receipts to finished product shipping. Base compensation to $120,000 plus. Several clients in the Northwest are starting up new sawmill operations investing $20 MM plus. Selected candidates must have a proven track record in sawmill startups including operator training with a focus on safety.

Panelboard Maintenance Manager
Base salary to $115K, DOE plus bonus. Major West Coast panel producer is seeking to upgrade all portions of the preventative maintenance operations within a high technology, robotics focused, high-speed manufacturing operation. Selected candidate should have a technical 4 yr degree and at least 5 yrs of maintenance supervision experience, where improving unscheduled downtime is a priority. Cogen Power Plant Control Systems Engineer

Senior PLC Drives Specialist
Base salary to $100K DOE, plus benefits and bonus package. Multi-sawmill corporation is seeking a skilled PLC drives specialist to improve high-tech operations at four sawmills located in the Mid-Atlantic US. Key focal points include the ability to train electronic specialists at mill sites focused on corrective actions regarding system failures. Industrial Software Engineer

Major integrated forest products firm with eight plus high-tech plants in the Western U.S. is seeking a skilled candidate to research and develop software to improve lumber recovery and production on new and used machine centers at all locations. Working within a centralized engineering design and fabrication center, our client has been focusing on the design, fabrication and startup of leading-edge wood machining technology.
Selected candidate must have a BS in Computer Science or Engineering and a thorough understanding of geometrics, complex algorithms, analytical problem solving and C++. 3D AutoCAD computer-based design applications are the norm within the center. Candidate should also have strong communication skills. Candidate should have at least five years of demonstrated results in optimizing industrial product processing equipment. Experience beyond wood products could include food, metal, paper and other related fields of high speed continuous processing applications.
