Sales and Marketing Positions

Biomass Processing Stationary Equipment Key Accounts Manager
Competitive annual compensation plus bonus package is offered to the selected candidate. Major mobile biomass processing equipment firm in the Midwest is seeking to expand their engineering services and equipment lines into serving the growing and expanding biomass processing markets in the U.S. and overseas. 

Our client’s new business focus will require a manager with…. a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or similar areas…. sales and marketing experience with customers who recycle biomass materials using stationary processing equipment…. a demonstrated skillset in developing new potential customers…. strong presentation skills (both written and verbal)…. and skills employing industrial engineering knowledge focused on presenting the added value of using state-of-the-art, stationary biomass processing equipment. The parent company is well positioned financially to focus on this new business sector, both domestically as well as Europe and Asia. Operations Management Positions

Panel Plant Operations Manager
Base compensation to $160K DOE, plus bonus. Pacific NW Oregon mill complex is seeking a candidate with a 4 year degree, and over 10 years experience in managing, improving, and innovating panel plant operation efficiencies. Selected candidate will be responsible for all phases of operations related to specialty panels, including LVL. A results oriented track record in maintaining continuous improvement, safety, cross-training and timely on-grade shipments to customers throughout the US is essential. Sawmill Plant Managers
Base compensation to $120,000 plus. Several clients in the Northwest are starting up new sawmill operations investing $20 MM plus. Selected candidates must have a proven track record in sawmill startups including operator training with a focus on safety.


Maintenance and Support Positions

Veneer Plant Maintenance Superintendent
Base to $110,000 DOE plus bonus and benefits. Integrated plywood producer is seeking a skilled supervisor to oversee all phases of veneer plant maintenance support. Selected candidate must have a positive record in CMMS, millwright and electrical cross-training and safety. Candidate must also be able to provide leadership and organizational direction towards reducing unscheduled machine downtime. Excellent benefit and retirement package provided. Sawmill Maintenance Superintendents
Base compensation to $110,000, plus attractive bonus and health package. Our sawmill clients, based in Alabama and Georgia, are seeking skilled personnel to oversee all phases of lumber operations maintenance. Key skill set includes safety, preventative maintenance of all operations, use of CMMS, millwright and electrical cross training, parts inventory, purchasing and control. Two or four year degree preferred, but not essential. Selected candidates do not need experience in forest products manufacturing. Experience in product manufacturing and a track record in reducing unscheduled downtime are essential. (Search Assignment #6376)

Sawfiler Systems Supervisor
Weekly income $3,500, plus travel expenses. Successful timber/sawmill consulting firm with annual sales exceeding $4 M, is seeking to expand staff with a highly experienced supervisor skilled in setting up round and double cut band saw filing rooms and hiring/training operators in a safe manner for client companies throughout the U.S. and offshore. Owner has demonstrated success in designing, constructing and starting up new and upgraded hardwood/softwood sawmill complexes. This rare opportunity is offered to a highly qualified sawfiler supervisor seeking to advance lumber processing operations. Since this is a consulting opportunity, no health or retirement benefits are offered. This is a unique opportunity, especially for a person about to retire within the next 20 years. Millwrights, Electricians and Electronic Techs for Pacific NW and Southeast Forest Products Mills: $21-$30/hr, plus Overtime Benefits
Attention NCO Vets: Skilled mechanical and electrical NCO techs serving in the USN or USAF.....  Due to the pending retirements of maintenance technicians within our client companies, a critical need exists for skilled technicians with preventative maintenance skills to service high-tech mill operations. Engineering Positions

Forest Product Manufacturing Project Engineers and CAD Designers needed for $20 MM+ new sawmill/planer projects in the Western U.S.
Well established forest product project engineering consulting firm in the NW is seeking skilled talent to service new clients focused on efficiently converting logs to lumber. Projects range from preliminary design to final design, construction and startups. CAD Designers can make $3,500+ per week, Project Engineers $4,500+ per week. Projects are seasonal depending on markets and financial resources with client companies. Candidates can also work from their homes. (Search Assignment #6377)


Administrative Positions

Human Resources Manager
Base compensation to $120,000 plus. Major integrated Southeast-based forest products firm is seeking an HR Manager to oversee HR and safety operations for 5+ operating mill locations. Selected candidate must have a BS degree or higher, HR certifications, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft software, and be able to travel 50% of the time to mill locations. Forest Products Corporate Manufacturing Controller
Base compensation to $100K DOE, plus attractive bonus package. Pacific NW specialty lumber producer is seeking a skilled candidate, with a four year degree, to oversee all phases of accounting functions. This includes payroll, lumber production and shipments, receivables and payables, month-end reporting, cash management, and analytical improvements. Focus includes all phases of operations from raw material acquisition, production, customer profitability and business plans. Selected candidate will report directly to the CEO. Company is directed towards facility expansion and acquisitions. Current sales are $40M/year with growth prospects exceeding $100M/year. (Search Assignment #6382)
